SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!!!!

What do sites like Groupon, WagJag, LivingdDeal and  Deal of the Day have in common? They are deal of the day sites that users can buy discounted gift certificates from to use at local and national companies. These sites have saved users thousands of dollars. For example, I have purchased car detailing for $39 (reg. $89) and I just recently scored a one-night getaway at Niagara Falls, staying at the Hilton (executive suite for 2 adults and up to 5 children), with manager's reception, $40 voucher for the Keg and a full hot and cold breaksfast complete with omelette station for $115CDN. Now tell me that's not a great deal?!!!!

What these sites believe is that there is buying power in numbers and that the more people that are interested in a product, the cheaper that product should be. Great concept!
